Salford City is aware of a racial comment made towards midfielder Tyrese Fornah on Instagram following Tuesday night’s match.
We have a zero tolerance stance on the use of racist or discriminative language or behaviour, and have reported the culprit to the relevant authorities.
We trust that Meta will take the necessary action against the individual and continue to work with clubs and the EFL to prevent issues of this nature from happening.
