Salford City versus Stockport County will now take place on Thursday 14th March after being selected for live coverage on Sky Sports.
The local derby will also now kick-off at 8:00pm at The Peninsula Stadium.
Match tickets are already on sale for the fixture against the league leaders, available to buy online (booking fees apply) or from the club shop on Moor Lane.
Due to Sky’s broadcast infrastructure requirements a number of seats in the South Stand will be required. If your seat is affected the ticket office will contact you with alternative seats for the fixture.
For any supporters who had purchased match tickets for this fixture but can no longer attend, please email tickets@salfordcityfc.co.uk to request a refund or change your ticket(s) to another game.
MORECAMBE GAME ALSO DISPLACED
With the Stockport game being moved to the Thursday, our game against Morecambe that weekend will now be played on Sunday 17th March (KO 2:00pm).
Because the Stockport game is being shown on Sky Sports it will not be available to watch on SCFC TV, but with the Morecambe game now falling outside of the Saturday 3pm blackout window, that one can be streamed. Live match commentary of both games will still be available.
