Salford City is pleased to announce a new deal with adidas and Pro:Direct as kit manufacturers and distributors from the start of the 2023-24 season. The new deal will see the German kit manufacturer supply the men's team, Lionesses and academy playing and training kits through Pro:Direct's Clubhouse arm. It's the first time that we will sport the famous three stripes of adidas, and it makes us the ninth team in the Football League to wear adidas this upcoming season alongside Arsenal, Fulham, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Leicester City, Exeter City and Crawley Town. Three new playing kits will be revealed in mid-July with the players returning for pre-season in all new training kit. In addition we have an exciting initiative to announce next week for our first game of pre-season away at Radcliffe on Saturday 8th July...

Commenting on the deal, Salford City CEO Nicky Butt said:

"We are thrilled to announce this deal with adidas and Pro:Direct as kit manufacturer and distributors. They are iconic in world sport with a fantastic history and great pedigree, and we are looking forward to working with them during the coming seasons.

“Everyone at the Club is excited for the 2023-24 season, and part of that is a fresh new look that we hope supporters will like and can be excited about too.”

Chris Walsh, VP Brand, adidas North Europe added:

“We are delighted to officially announce a long-term partnership with Salford City, in collaboration with ProDirect. The club and the fanbase’s passion for football and community, make them the perfect addition to our adidas family. Salford City are looking to the future with big ambitions, and we feel excited to be a part of their journey.”

Adam Parker, Category Leader Clubhouse and Partnerships at Pro:Direct, said:
