Currently, one in six jobs in the hospitality sector are vacant, with countless opportunities for employment. But what springs to mind when you talk about jobs in this industry? Restaurants? Hotels? Cafes, bars, takeaways and pubs?
Right on the doorstep of Salford City FC lies another branch of the sector that is similarly desperate to recruit, but offers satisfaction that other hospitality jobs do not – Heathlands Village, one of the largest care homes in the north west looking after a range of older people from their fifties to early 100s needs warm, enthusiastic team players to join its Catering and Hospitality teams!
Karen, a member of the team for more than a decade, loves working at the Village:
“I organise the tea trolley and wait on residents in the main restaurant. I love the residents here, and making them smile, whether intentionally or not!”
Are you a great communicator, with plenty of patience and a sense of humour? We’re looking for you!
And the job opportunities at Heathlands Village don’t end there! There are jobs also available in housekeeping, portering and driving, care and community services.
Looking for flexible hours or evening work? We want to hear from you!
Heathlands Village – run by social care charity The Fed – is a warm and friendly place, with exceptional staff benefits. We’re an industry leader in staff development – with a beautiful work environment to top it all off!
