Salford City’s 2019-20 Sky Bet League Two campaign kicks off at The Peninsula Stadium against Stevenage on Saturday 3rd August.

Our debut match in the Football League has been selected for live coverage on Sky, and will kick off at 12:30pm.

Dino Maamria’s side will provide a stern test in our debut Football League match after finishing 10th last season, but just one point outside the play-offs.

The visit of The Boro is followed by a trip to Crawley Town on Saturday 10th August before the Carabao Cup gets underway in the week commencing 12th August – the Round One Draw takes place tonight.

STAND OUT FIXTURES

We visit near neighbours Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park on Sunday 29th December, rounding off 2019, before The Latics make the trip to The Peninsula Stadium just under a month later on Saturday 25th January.

The 25,000-seater Valley Parade, home of Bradford City, awaits on Saturday 21st December with Gary Bowyer’s side coming to Salford on Saturday 7th March.

The longest away game of the league season is the 291-mile trip to Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park on Tuesday 20th August.

On Boxing Day we welcome Crewe Alexandra to The Peninsula Stadium. It is our first festive game on home soil since the 2016-17 season when we won 1-0 against Bradford Park Avenue.

Our final league game is away at Cheltenham Town on Saturday 25th April.
