Robbie GottsSalford City is delighted to welcome Robbie Gotts to the Club on loan from Leeds United!

The youngster arrives having spent the first half of the season on loan at Lincoln City in League One, where he scored his first senior goal on Tuesday night.

Able to play comfortably in central midfield or at right back, the 21-year-old is highly thought of at Elland Road and is an exciting talent to have.

After training this morning, Robbie is eligible for tomorrow’s Sky Bet League Two clash at Newport County subject to FA clearance. His first interview is exclusively on Matchday LIVE tomorrow, available to watch on Twitter, Facebook or YouTube from 14:30.

On joining The Ammies he said:

“I’m really looking forward to it, as soon as the Club was interested really I think that was my main priority to come here.

“The manager spoke to me, there’s been previous conversation before and I’m just really happy to be here.”

Richie Wellens added:

“He’s a young up and coming midfielder at Leeds United, he’s been involved in a couple of Championship games and a cup game away at Arsenal.

“He’s got loads and loads of energy and I think he will complement the other midfielders very well, he comes fresh from a loan spell at Lincoln who are flying, and comes with a good recommendation.”

Welcome to Salford, Robbie, and we wish you a successful stay here with us!
