Tom joined us in the January 2020 Transfer Window, signing a two-and-a-half year deal from Millwall.

The striker started his career at Leeds United and earned a professional contract in 2007, but made four appearances amongst loan spells with Macclesfield Town, Bury and Rotherham United before moving to Hamilton Academical and Stockport County.

Next he joined Cambridge United in 2012 and scored 16 goals in 33 appearances in his first season, before helping Cambridge back into the Football League in 2013-14 via the play-offs. That summer he left for AFC Wimbledon where in 2015-16 he won promotion from League Two, again via the play-offs, and in 2016-17 he was named Player of the Season after finishing as joint-top goalscorer. He joined Millwall in 2017.

As a youth player, Tom made appearances for England at Under-16 and Under-18 level.

Ahead of the 2020-21 season, Tom claimed the number 9 shirt.
