On loan at FC Halifax Town until the end of the 2019-20 season.
Powerful front man Devante Rodney signed for Salford in June 2018 from Hartlepool United.
The 21-year-old was in Manchester City’s Academy for six years before moving to Sheffield Wednesday in 2013 where he was part of the Development Squad. However he didn’t make an appearance for The Owls and in January 2017 he moved further east to Hartlepool United.
He scored twice on the closing day of the 2016-17 season, but it wasn’t enough for Pools to keep their place in the Football League but Rodney stayed at the club and scored twice last season in the National League, before the Manchester-born forward opted for a move back closer to home.
A fruitful loan spell at FC Halifax Town in the latter part of 2018-19 yielded seven goals in 12 appearances.
Previous Clubs: Manchester City, Sheffield Wednesday, Hartlepool United, FC Halifax Town (loan).
