The pair have been nominated in different categories in the North West Football Awards 2019, and you can vote for them.
Piergianni is up against AFC Fylde’s Danny Rowe for the 2019 National League Player of the Season. The 27-year-old didn’t miss a league game and scored a career-best 12 goals, including one in the Play-Off Final at Wembley, as well as being selected in the National League Team of the Season and winning the club’s Player of the Year award for a second consecutive season.
Touray only missed one game in 2018-19, when he was away representing The Gambia in an international match, and scored his first goals for the club including the third goal in May’s Wembley win.
The 24-year-old is one of 17 players nominated for the Rising Star award, alongside the likes of Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood, Everton’s Richarlison and Harry Brockbank, who had a loan spell at The Peninsula Stadium last season.
Manager Graham Alexander has also been shortlisted as a finalist in the Manager of the Season category after leading us to promotion to the Football League at the first time of asking in his debut season at the club. The winner of that award is decided by a panel and not by public vote.
Voting is open until Friday 11th October.
