Salford City is extremely excited to launch all three playing kits for the 2021-22 season!

After the striking stripes of last year, kit suppliers Kappa have kept the red more simplistic this season and chosen to focus on more intricate features.

The home kit has a a contrasting white trim with a narrow red stripe to give it a retro feel, while the bottom of the shirt features the lion’s face from the crest.

Once again on the road we have a white away kit and a black third kit and both feature gold as the secondary colour in similar designs.

The white shirt retains principal sponsor TalkTalk’s pride logo to demonstrate our shared and ongoing support for the LGBTQ+ community, and all three shirts have the Club motto integrated into the back of the collar.

Shirts will be available to purchase soon once stock has been delivered and sorted. They will be available from the Club Shop (opening hours to be confirmed) and online, costing £40 for Adult sizes and £35 for Juniors.

The red shirt will make its debut at Atherton Collieries tomorrow as our pre-season friendlies schedule begins.

We were also joined for the launch of the kit by Little Lion, Eden!

Eden is four and has been supporting Salford since she was two. Her favourite player is Ash Hunter and she says that one of her favourite things about Salford is the lion on the badge, so it’s no surprise that she loves the home kit the best with the large lion print across the shirt!

This Little Lion has watched all the games throughout lockdown and always cheers when Salford score. Thank you for being a superstar for the launch Eden!

This season’s kit launch revolves around the City of Salford, and was filmed between the iconic Salford Lads Club, The Peninsula Stadium and Kersal Moor.

We are always proud to say #WeAreSalford and that equality is reflected by including fans, first team players and the Lionesses in the launch.
