Salford City have been drawn against Marine in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round after the draw took place at Wembley this afternoon.
It is only the second time in our history that we have competed at the Fourth Qualifying Round stage, the last time being in 2015 when a 1-0 win over Southport sent us through to the First Round.
The last couple of seasons have seen our campaign ended in the Third and then the Second Qualifying Rounds, but this season sights will be set on reaching the First Round in November.
Opponents Marine are 17th in the Northern Premier League, and beat National League North Brackley Town in the Third Qualifying Round.
The tie at the Marine Travel Arena is scheduled to take place on Saturday 20th October, match details will be confirmed in due course.
Our last visit to The Mariners came in February 2016 when Chris Lynch and Luke Clark scored in a 2-0 win in the Northern Premier League.
A supporters’ coach will leave the Henry Boddington at 12:30pm. The fare is £7.50 per seat and tickets can be bought from the match-day office before and after the home games -vs- Ashton United (9/10) and Braintree Town (13/10). Email applications for tickets will not be considered until Sunday 14th October.
