JAMES HOOPER SIGNS FOR SALFORD
Salford City FC is delighted to announce the signing of forward James Hooper
CAREER SO FAR
Wythenshawe born James is a graduate of Rochdale’s youth academy, turning professional at Spotland in 2015. Loan spells at FC United and Stockport County followed and James left Rochdale having made one appearance for the club. In 2017 he signed a short-term deal with Carlisle United, making 9 appearances and scoring once before leaving the Cumbrians that summer.
At the start of the 2017-2018 campaign James signed for FC United, playing 10 times before moving to Radcliffe Borough at the end of September. He spent the rest of last season at Stainton Park before being offered a trial by Salford manager Graham Alexander.
SIGNING FOR SALFORD
James made a handful of friendly appearance during pre-season, appearing on the teamsheet as ‘Trialist’. It was a successful trial spell for the 21 year old who has signed a one year contract.
We’d like to offer James a very warm welcome to the Peninsula Stadium.
