Jake Jervis is hoping for a third League Two promotion this season after signing on loan from Luton Town.
The winger-come-forward has won promotions in 2016-17 and 2017-18 with Plymouth Argyle and Luton Town respectively.
Previously the 27-year-old has played for Birmingham where he played with Adam Rooney, and had a loan spell at Preston North End during Graham Alexander’s spell as interim manager in 2012.
After a spell in Turkey with Elazigspor and in Scotland with Ross County, Jervis settled at Plymouth and Luton, and had a loan spell at AFC Wimbledon last season in League One.
“I think there’s a lot of talk about Salford and it’s something that definitely interested me when I heard about it.
“I’ve been around long enough now to be able to settle into somewhere but it definitely does help when you know a few faces.
“Now I’ve got a bit wiser and been in the league a bit I can help with experience. As it gets on in the season you’ll have times where it gets a bit tricky and you’ve got to just keep your head and keep going.
“I’ve had 18 months of playing games but not as much as I’d like – week in, week out – so obviously I want to get back to playing games and hopefully we can push to have a successful season.”
Welcome to The Peninsula Stadium Jake, and we hope you have a successful stay with us!
