Salford City travel to Yorkshire on Saturday to take on Harrogate Town in Sky Bet League Two.
So far the Ammies have had a better November in terms of results picked up with two cup wins and a draw at Scunthorpe United last weekend.
Gary Bowyer’s side is still contending with a number of first team players out injured, which forced the re-calls last weekend of Marcus Dackers and Kevin Berkoe. However Ibou Touray and Tyreik Wright are both back and available after international duty, while Tom Elliott, Ash Hunter, and Matty Willock are back on grass as they near a return.
Still sidelined are Tom King, Corrie Ndaba, Luke Burgess, D’Mani Mellor and Ian Henderson.
Hosts Harrogate have been a regular opponent for The Ammies since we first met in the National League North in 2016, and Simon Weaver’s side have had a fruitful start to the season. The league’s top scorers come into this game in fifth and depending on results could move back into the top three, or drop out of the play-offs with things tight in the top half.
Former Salford striker Luke Armstrong has been key to Harrogate’s start with nine goals making him one of the league’s leading marksmen, his latest strike coming in last weekend’s 3-1 win at Walsall which was Town’s first win in five league outings.
Last season James Wilson was on target in a 1-0 win for The Ammies at the Envirovent Stadium, one of a handful of games that was played in front of a limited crowd.
