SALFORD CITY welcome in 2018 with the second leg of the festive double over FC United of Manchester at The Peninsula Stadium, and there is plenty for fans to do!

The first game of 2018 sees the official launch of the Kitbag FanZone, and to celebrate Kitbag have a number of activities for fans to get involved with!

To start off there will be a SpeedTrap in the fan zone where you can challenge your mates and find out who has the most powerful shot, and compare against some familiar names. It is free to have a go, so why not give it a try?

The top three adults and the top three children will then get the opportunity to take a penalty on the pitch at half-time, and a chance to win a football shirt of their choice courtesy of Kitbag!

If penalties aren’t your thing, then there is also a chance to win a signed Ryan Giggs boot from the Class of ’92 Friendly to open The Peninsula Stadium in November!

All you have to do is take a photo of your match day experience and share it on Twitter using the hashtag #KBFanZone; the tweet which gets the most re-tweets will win the boot!

To be eligible you must follow both @SalfordCityFC and @KitbagUK and use #KBFanZone.

All of our usual vendors will be open in the fan zone including Amans Express, who have match day curries Tikka Masala and Bhuna; Seven Bro7hers with a range of delicious Craft Beers; Grandad’s Sausages with their speciality hot dogs and Babs’ Tea Bar!

The Club Shop will also be open with replica shirts, hats, scarves, umbrellas, 2018 calendars and much more.

With every purchase you will receive a FREE KitBag ‘Football Is Life’ t-shirt while stocks last.

Turnstiles open at 12:30, kick-off at 15:00.

Admission is on the gate, no advance tickets required!
Adults £10,
Concessions £5,
5 and under Free.

Programmes are available from just inside the ground for £2, featuring Lois Maynard.

This match is unsegregated, however FC United fans may wish to use the East Stand if you want to stand in the designated ‘away’ end.

Parking is extremely limited around The Peninsula Stadium, and usual match day restrictions will be in place on the surrounding streets. Park & Ride is available from IT Lab on Agecroft Industrial Estate for £2 per car, open from 1pm and users will be able to catch a shuttle bus to the ground. All proceeds are being donated to Maggie’s Centres from the 2017-18 season!

The following roads have parking restrictions on during match days.
