Foundation 92 is excited to announce that we will be launching a groundbreaking Wellbeing and Mentoring programme!

This will be offered exclusively to those in our community facing hardship due to unemployment, and will start at the end of May 2020 (subject to Covid-19 restrictions being lifted).

The programme will offer individuals free to access, one-to-one mentoring and will contribute to helping the City of Salford thrive.

Personalised advice and guidance will be provided on topics such as Digital Inclusion, Financial Sustainability, Budgeting, Mental and Physical Wellbeing, Enterprise and General Confidence Building.

Each person on the programme will be provided with a personal progression plan which will help them to keep focus and achieve their goals.

The main objective of our engagement is to support people into employment, training or education.

Yvonne Harrison, Chair of Foundation 92, said:

“Foundation 92 is proud to be working tirelessly to support the needs of Salford.

“Football is a universal language, and using the power of football, we can offer additional support to have a positive impact on peoples’ lives in our community.

“Programmes like this can help us to have better connections to the people around us and a strong, more valuable presence in the community of Salford!”

Foundation 92 will support individuals into both training or employment, as well as whilst they are in employment.

We will engage 100 people in this opportunity over the next 12 months, with referrals being made by local partners to ensure those most in need are able to access this service, so watch this space!

Foundation 92 is proudly sponsored by 1st Central.
