The 20-year-old is able to play up top or further wide, and adds another option to Gary Bowyer’s squad for the 2021-22 campaign.
Born and raised locally, D’Mani has been with the Red Devils from a young age and featured in a wide range of tournaments and leagues including winning the Premier League North and competing in the UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup.
He made his first team debut away at FC Astana in the Europa League during 2019-20, but an injury picked up in pre-season ruled him out for 2020-21. However fresh from signing a new deal in the summer D’Mani is looking forward to the challenge of the EFL:
“I can’t wait to get started with Salford City. Having spoken to the manager and his staff, I know this is the perfect place for me to start playing regular senior football.
“I’ve been at Manchester United since the age of eight, I’ve loved my time in the Academy and learnt so much but I’m ready now to compete every week in the Football League.
“Salford is a great club, it is one I know well as a local lad, the fans are really passionate and I’m looking forward to performing for them over the season.”
With the transfer window closing on Tuesday evening, Gary Bowyer feels his squad is starting to fill out now and added:
“Firstly a big thank you to all at Manchester United, this loan once again strengthens the relationship between the two clubs with Di’Shon Bernard having a successful loan here last season.
“We are delighted that D’Mani has agreed to join us on loan and he gives us another attacking option!
“He is an exciting player. with an incredible work rate who was very excited to come and join us.”
A warm welcome goes out to D’Mani and his family and friends, and we hope you enjoy a successful stay at The Peninsula Stadium!
Our newest addition is available for selection this afternoon and will wear the number 19.
