Salford City is pleased to announce the signing of Di’Shon Bernard on loan until January.
The Manchester United youngster has been a regular for United’s youth teams over the last few seasons.
He made his first team debut in the Europa League against FC Astana in November 2019, and was impressive at the back in the Under-21s’ EFL Trophy win at The Peninsula Stadium last month.
Heading out on loan to be part of a senior set-up for the first time, the centre-back says he is looking forward to expanding his experience.
“I’m really happy to be here, it’s a different experience for me, the first time I’ve been in men’s football, and I just want to get going.
“It’s going to be much more challenging for me. Obviously 23s you’re not challenged physically but now we’re going to be playing against men now so it’s going to be a big, big test for me.”
The 20-year-old has registered in time to be eligible for tomorrow’s trip to Port Vale.
