Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two game against Colchester United has unfortunately been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The referee inspected the pitch this morning, and with temperatures set to remain below zero up to kick-off the decision was made.
“Based on the Match Referee’s report and the zero/minus temperatures forecasted, the likelihood of the pitch being playable tomorrow is extremely low.”
A new date will be announced in due course. Supporters who have purchased a match pass will be refunded – for season ticket holders the game will carry over to the re-arranged date.
Next up for Salford is Tuesday’s visit to Scunthorpe United (KO 19:00).
